This is one of the most frequently asked questions. Yes, migration from Shopify to RentWeb.lv is possible if your Shopify plan supports product import/export via XML files. However, each case is unique, so we recommend contacting us for a detailed assessment and guidance on the migration process.
How does the website creation process work?
The process is simple and efficient:
- You fill out an application on our website.
- We contact you to discuss all the details and requirements.
- You provide the necessary content—texts, descriptions, media files, and any other materials for your website.
- We develop your website while maintaining constant communication with you to ensure it meets your expectations.
Once the site is ready, we finalize everything together and launch it online!
I already have a website. Can you update it?
It depends on the CMS your current website is built on. If your site is based on WordPress or another compatible platform, we can help with updates, redesign, and improvements. If your website is on a different system, contact us, and we’ll evaluate the best possible solutions for upgrading or migrating your site to RentWeb.lv.
Are there any subscription commitments?
No, there are no commitments. You can cancel the service at any time without any penalties.
Is there any additional payment required when ordering a package?
The package does not include a domain name. You can use our free subdomain (yoursite.rentweb.lv) or register your own unique domain.
How do I register a domain?
You can register your unique domain with any registrar of your choice, or we can do it for you.
How does the payment work?
We will send you an invoice to the email address you provided during registration, and you can pay it via bank transfer.
When does the subscription start and end?
The subscription starts once payment is made and lasts until the same date of the next month. For example, if you paid on January 15th, your subscription will be valid until February 15th. Payment for the next month should be made by February 15th.
Can I change the design of my store after it’s created?
Yes, you can request design changes, but such changes may require additional payment if the work is complex.
What happens if I don’t pay on time?
If you delay payment, please contact us to make arrangements. If the payment is not received by the specified date, we will block access to the site/online store.
What payment methods do you accept?
We only accept bank transfers.
Can I upgrade my package or add services later?
Yes, you can add additional services at any time by paying for them separately.
How long do you keep the data if the service is not paid for?
We keep the website data for up to 3 months after non-payment. After that, the site and all data will be permanently deleted.
What can I sell on my website?
You can sell any legal products. The site renter is fully responsible for the products sold.
How quickly will my website or online store be ready?
It takes 5 business days to develop and design the website, provided all necessary information is provided promptly.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind and want to cancel the service within a month?
Unfortunately, refunds are not possible. Payments are non-refundable as the service is prepaid for the month ahead.
Do you take commissions from sales in my online store?
No, we do not take any commissions from your sales. However, payment systems used for transactions charge a fee. The commission depends on the payment system you choose.
